Such a misconception was reflected in recent remarks by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his point man in the government hierarchy. Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai told the media upon his return from the 32nd Asean Summit in Singapore that other countries, both from within Asean and elsewhere, expressed no concerns about Thailand's roadmap to democracy or the political climate in the country.
